NEW MEMBERS
MEMBERSHIP ORIENTATION
After joining Family of Faith Christian Center, New Members are encouraged to attend our Quarterly New Members Enhancement Workshop. The workshop is comprised of eight (8) classes: Welcome to the Family of Faith, Salvation, Prayer and the Holy Spirit, Christian Stewardship, Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey, Church Etiquette, and What can I do in the Church. The information is provided to enhance the spiritual growth of the believer and new member of Family of Faith. After completion of the Workshop, the new Member is recognized by the Bishop, presented to their church family, and provided a certificate and trophy of completion. “Praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:47, NIV
MEMBERSHIP PROCESS
The New Members Ministry’s mission is to introduce all new members joining Family of Faith Christian Center to their new pastor, perspective ministry opportunities, and present an overview of the church vision and doctrinal beliefs. We strive to ensure all new members are assimilated into the life and activities at Family of Faith Christian Center. We maintain continuous communication with each New Member to assist wherever we can. At Family of Faith, we stress kinship over membership and you will feel the warmth and love upon entering the church doors. Bishop Gordon maintains that members are not joining the church… they are joining the Family.
